Jim Garb    Photography

I am a photographer, retired physician, occasional teacher, and sometime musician living on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Although I've been taking pictures since I was a teenager, I've gotten more serious about my work in the past sixteen years since cutting back on my full time work load.  My photographs have been exhibited at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, The Cape Cod Art Association, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, the Harvest Gallery Wine Bar, the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, and FotoNostrum Mediterranean House of Photography in Barcelona Spain, among other locations.

 

While the Cape is noted for the quality of its light and its photogenic nature, I also enjoy photographing other venues, people and still life.  Some of my favorite locations to photograph besides Cape Cod are the U.S. Southwest, Paris, the California coast, and the Canadian Rockies.  Cuba is a photographer's paradise!
